Originally sponsored by the Nantucket Garden Club in 1974, the Chamber of Commerce will be coordinating the 37th annual Daffodil Festival this April 29th & 30th. An estimated 3 million daffodils adorn the roadways and gardens throughout Nantucket during the month of April and are presently emerging from the Winter soil, heralding another celebration of this hearty flower, along with antique cars and a delightful Spring picnic in Sconset. In addition to the antique car parade and tailgate picnic, the weekend features a window decorating contest, a children’s parade, a dog parade, a hat pageant and flower show at Bartlett’s farm with free shuttle service. We hope you can stay with us and come see the beauty on Nantucket during this festive time on the Island.

The daffodils are beautiful and have a nice color that could brighten any day; however, the pictures of the antique autos made my day. The antique vehicles are absolutely amazing. The tailgate picnic is a nice touch.
