| One of the most popular attractions on Island and maybe our favorite is taking the Coskata Wildlife Natural History tour. The tour is available April through October, takes approximately 3 hours and meets daily at the Wauwinet gate house.
It explores 16 miles of breathtaking natural coastal views and includes a visit to Great Point Lighthouse. You will experience wild and remote coastal vistas and learn about the fascinating flora and fauna of this unique wildlife refuge which is truly a world apart. Deer, raptors, a variety of shorebirds along with sand dunes, coastal forests, salt marsh and tidal ponds can be found in this beautiful coastal environment. |
