Less than a five-minute walk will take you over to Beach Street here in Nantucket where you will find a quaint shop called Épernay Wine & Spirits. This is the only Sommelier owned and operated wine + liquor store on the island of Nantucket. Not only are they friendly and extremely knowledgeable, they have a fantastic selection of beer, wine and spirits. Épernay is a favorite shop in the neighborhood but one that our guests at the inn will highly enjoy as well while staying on the Island. Tuscan Treats Wine Tasting – October 10, 2019 from 5pm – 7pm. This one is all about Italy! Meet New England Regional Manager of Zonin Italian Wines, Iris Di Cicco, and enjoy an evening of Tuscany wine tastings with Italian cheese selections and other delicious treats.
A Very Vermouth Tasting with Carl Sutton – October 17, 2019 from 5pm – 7pm. Vermouth is an aromatic fortified wine flavored with various roots, herbs, barks and other botanicals. It is a key ingredient in many popular drinks such as the Martini and the Manhattan. This evening will bring offerings by T.W. Hollister & Co. Learn the fine art of the aperitif!
Little Octoberfest – Small Producers, Big Wines Tasting – October 24, 2019 from 5pm – 7pm. This evening is all about giving major props to the little guy. There are many small producers making big wines and you’ll get to enjoy a selection from several family owned wineries.
Bring Out the Boos Wine Tasting – October 31, 2019 from 5pm – 7pm. Bring out your favorite costumes and come for a tasting of hearty red wines from around the world – great for pairing with your favorite Halloween chocolate!
